    There were some hits and some very bad misses but I give SNL credit for trying.

    Quite an experiment and effort. Hit and miss. But SNL is always hit and miss.

    It's funny. I always just assumed all the cast members lived in and around NYC, but definitely not Kenan with those palm trees in his yard.

    That was a enjoyable 90 minutes. Several chuckles from me. And can use them.

    I thought weekend update was great, it's just hard without people reacting to what they're doing.

    Yeah looks like a vast majority, especially the newer ones, live in LA.

    Maybe that Thompson is married with children and sees himself more as a working family guy plays into it? Spitballing here.

    He also might have more money than the rest of them - he's been a working actor since his teens. Not that you make a ton doing the kind of stuff he was, but he's probably comfortable, and it's not like he needs to be out there networking with directors and hustling for roles.
