SNL's Continued Downward Spiral Thread

I wonder if, when you're having sex with Larry David's daughter, the "Curb Your Enthusiasm" theme song plays in your head the whole time.

 

Props to John Cena. He's a solid host. (Though Alabama fans are probably going to be PISSED about the one sketch with the stupid Tide player.)

The Walter White cameo in the open was great.

 

Cena gave us the definitive Gronk impression, as only a Masshole can.

 

Was just reminded of my favorite line from this weeks weekend update:

Cold open wasn't very funny, but it was an open challenge to Trump. Kinda surprised his little stubby fingers haven't gone on a tweet-rant yet.

 

I swear to God, the little bastard's name was Shart.

 

I'm sure I could get excited to see Casey Affleck in something. Somewhere. Sometime.

SNL is not it.

 

Can Chance the Rapper host the rest of the show?

 

Aside from the cold open, Hilary and the rap song with Kenan, Chance and DMC, it was a pretty pedestrian episode.

I was expecting Ben Affleck to pop up somewhere along the way in some sort of cameo.

 

The Dunkin Donuts ad was pretty good, as was the abducted-for-Christmas thing. The comedy nativity thing, though, was rock-bottom bad. Whoever wrote that needs to be gone.
