SNL with Alec Baldwin: Actually funny

For all of his faults, the guy rarely misses as SNL host. And this show has made me laugh more in 35 minutes than in the last 35 shows (approx) combined: A match.com for hookers, a Britney divorce skit, a funny herpes ad, funny car pool skit, TV Funhouse with Kobiyashi the hot dog eating dude and a slightly long yet still entertaining skit with Steve Martin, Martin Short and Paul McCartney.

If he'd host every week, SNL might have a shot at maintaining a semblance of relevance.

 

plus a great singing performance by christina aguilera. what a set of pipes. 8) 8) 8)

 

Uh huh. You watch her for the "singing."

Classic line from Seth Meyers: "Today is Veteran's Day. Which affects no one from The White House."

 

Wow, McCartney really does look like Angela Lansbury. But older.

 

And an even better classic from Amy Poehler to start the Update:

"In an ironic turnaround, Iraq brought regime change to the U.S."

 

That Tony Bennett skit was aces.

 

the car pool part about being kidnapped in peru and celine dion had me rolling.

 

it's come to this, if Baldwin is hosting, A games come out. It's worth watching. He now carries the show.

 

so it's tony bennett and christina aguilera duet? i never thought i would type those words.

 

That was freakin hilarious.

"Bobby McFerrin raped my grandmother."

"OK let's just put on the radio then."

And "Don't Worry Be Happy" is playing.

 

My wife taped the wrong channel. I could just shit.
