SNL season debut with Michael Phelps

    I don't know. Andy Samberg is pretty funny, almost Sandler-esque for Weekend Update.

    I did like the Charles Barkley skit, so add that to the Palin/Clinton into and the Jaspers as things I liked about this episode. But that's it.

    Was it just me, or did Phelps look totally upset at the way the show was going?

    The diet bit at the end was good, and so were the Barkley takeoff and the T-Mobile. Other than that, it was awful.

    Just came on in West Coast time and that opening sketch was scary good - Fey nailed the voice and had that odd "glazed over" look on her face.
