Sneaking into the movies

I don't buy concessions, that's for sure. It's where being a woman's helpful. 20-ounce and a box of non-pareils in the purse. $4 for a soda and $3.75 for a box of non-pareils...or $1.25 for a soda and 99 cents for a box of candy...hmmm.

 

Use your car key to cut a hole in the bottom of the bucket. Winner winner rooster dinner!

 

If only I could justify buying the extra large popcorn.

 

If a grown man is willing to risk being caught for sneaking into a movie like a broke teenager, then I say he's earned that movie.

When I lived in Seattle the Cineplex Odeon theaters had an area in the lobby where you could buy candy by the pound. They charged five or six bucks. You could create your own custom blends because they gave you a bag to put your sweets in. I bought a half pound once and kept the bag. Later visits I would sneak my own candy in along with the folded-up bag and once in the theater I would dump the candy into the bag.

A lot of theaters give you one free refill on large popcorn and sodas. If you catch two movies back-to-back you can really stretch your concession stand dollar.

 

I wouldn't go see most movies if you paid me to watch them.

But sneaking into a second movie? Not. kosher.

 

You mean you'd sneak your own candy in without paying for it??

You're the scum of the earth! So childish and embarrassing! Shame on you!

 

why bother paying for tickets for the first movie either? Find 2 stubs on the ground outside the theater......buy your concession stuff (make sure both hands are full)....flash the back of the stub to the guy and be on your way.

It worked great when I was 10.......
