Sorry to be a nitpicker, but the concept of theft and intellectual property is one facing our society in a big way now.

That works much better for me. Larcenous just means "of, relating to, given to, or guilty of larceny."

I admit I'm picking a pointless nit relative to your point, I was just using it as a jumping off toward another issue.

I don't think this is as easy to do now, but did this more than once many years ago. This is how many years ago, we bought tickets to "Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid" and snuck in to "Rocky III"

Did that with Borat in a college town on the first weekend it came out. Had to sit on the front row but watching it with a full theater made it 20x better.

I just tell myself it's a victimless crime. Except in two cases in which I wouldn't do it anyway -- the movie is sold out and I'm taking a seat that would otherwise be paid, or my second movie is one I would have come back on a separate occasion and paid full price for -- all I'm doing is planting my butt in an otherwise empty seat for a showing they have to show anyway. Plus I might buy concessions I would otherwise not buy, and in that scenario they come out ahead.

I think $6 is too much to pay for a six pack of beer at the local grocery store. Am I justified in stealing an extra six pack?
