He's doing it for the kids:

And think about how much more enjoyable Phineas and Ferb would be.

Love it. Before pot: lazy and selfish ... After pot: energized and giving

Cause that's not the opposite of what pot does

I wonder what the dosage is. Maybe a little is just enough.

Edit: Look at that ... Post No. 420! :D

I've never tried pot in my life, but a glass if wine at the witching hour can certainly take the edge off for me... so I totally get where he's coming from.

My question for him would be how often? If he does it 5 days a week, that seems like a problem.

I know this guy. Not this exact guy, but two guys just like him. Kids, jobs, fairly stable. Some job issues here and there, some anger issues, but nothing too horrifying. These men are pretty normal. In one instance, the kids are all under the age of ten, so I don't know what kind of effect, if any, the father's marijuana usage has on those children. In the other situation, both of the kids are in their late 20s, and both of them smoke pot every single day of their lives. Neither one of them can seem to hold down a job, and both of them don't seem particularly ambitious. They are nice kids, though. I don't know if pot caused any of that crap I mentioned with the ambition, jobs, etc..., but I wonder if the dad would've smoked pot every single day of his life after becoming a father had he known his kids would be doing the exact same thing almost 30 years later.

I don't really have a point. I don't mind pot, but I didn't like the tone of his story. The guy sounds like a douche. Sorry to hear about his minor back problems and occasional anxiety.

What a sad, sad story. I could truly feel his "occasional" pain. As a fellow fortysomething, I can't imagine not waking up every morning feeling wonderful. The courage he must have had to drag himself out of bed and face the day's obstacles when he was so ... tired. What a hero. And I'm so glad he found something to help him cope with such needy, selfish people who thought nothing of what their father faced and only wanted his attention. Bravo, Mark Wolfe, you make me proud to be a father, proud to be a man.
