    Rod Carew?
  5. I had no idea half those guys were Jewish.

If you read the interview he has an interesting take on some notable Jews who were left off the list - like Lou Boudreau.
  6. He converted ... Must not count.

4-man rotation, they'll be done by the All-Star break.

Wasn't he half Jewish? (Trying to remember the Adam Sandler song...)

    EDIT... Nevermind.

    Fred Wilpon is Jewish.

Why would SMG have even a passing interest in this?

    So dopey.

Good call, Guy. Massive oversight there. He's Jewish too.

At risk of setting off some sort of nuclear pissing match, I've seen all-Italian, all-Puerto Rican teams, etc., but All-Jew is the only one I can think of that has a religious connotation to it. Is, say, an All-Catholic team as relevant?

It gets back to an age-old question, is being Jewish a religious affiliation, or, is it considered an ethnic group all its own? I don't care either way, it's just an interesting topic to me.

Or Catholics with Jewish last names (David Eckstein).
