SMG interviews Bob Lipsyte

I'm sorry, I don't see bitterness in this interview at all. Not toward the athletes or the sports. Does he believe that most jocks are deep thinkers? No. Does he think a lot of sports coverage is not worth reading? Yes. Does that make him bitter? Don't think so. Maybe it's because in my interactions with Bob I always found him to be honest to a fault and a gentleman. And his writing was usually the same. It might flow against the stream, but it's still just his honest opinion, with no hating for the sake of hating. I hope my friends at the WWL are prepared for some honesty.
