Slumdog Millionaire

    I wasn't so sure about this one...my fiancee wanted to go because Howard Stern recommended it.

    I have to tell you, it's the best film I've seen in a while. Indian-made, about a poor kid who competes on that country's version of Who Wants to Be A Millionaire.

    It's 90 per cent in English, and the subtitles are creatively done, and easy to read.

    Definitely recommended to all of you.

    Pretty sure that's NOT what she wanted you to pay attention to.



    In all seriousness, I hadn't even heard of this movie until Cosmo or someone brought it up on the movies thread. The NY Post people agreed it was the best movie of the year (saying they hadn't agreed on the best movies in several years). I'm definitely intrigued.
