  8. The brainwashing kids endure is horrible. If I were a concerned parent, I wouldn't want my kids exposed to these fairy tales, especially in a preschool setting.

    The problem here is raising children on the Bible, with the book being a guide to morality. People like to be selective on how religion frames their morality, ignoring certain parts that are very, very immoral to our modern society. There is a lot of awful shit in there.

    How kids are usually taught the Bible isn't any different from how kids are usually taught American history: Praise all the good, ignore the questionable stuff, and if you talk about something that is considered wrong today, just chalk it up to an honest mistake.
