You lose a slap bet, which would you rather receive as punishment?

Inspired by last night's HIMYM, which might rival The Office as funniest sitcom on TV right now.

Inky -- after watching last night's episode, I said to Mrs. W that HIMYM is the clear number 2 sitcom right now behind The Office. And there is a big gap to number 3 (30 Rock, Earl and maybe when it comes back Scrubs).

And of course you take the 10 slaps now. Stupid move by Barney.

I'm amazed this show isn't more popular. Last night's episode had several "Rewind the TiVo because I'm laughing and missed the next line" moments.

Very bad call by Barney. I hope they keep referring back to the slaps, too.

I know it's fluff, but I really like that show. My wife was laughing out loud at the 80s-style Canadian music video.

We absolutely died on Robin's 80s video.

And she was sooooooooooo dreamy. ;)

That was hilarious. And CBS has the full video online if you want to see it again. Was that the rest of the cast in makeup playing Robin's backing band? The keyboard player looked like Neil Patrick Harris with a fake nose and wig.

But it wasn't an 80s video. It's was a 90s video, it just took a few years for the 80s to make their way to Canada.

Let's go to the mall ... today!

I know, but for us, it was 80s-style.

By the way, I'll be absolutely stunned if slap No. 5 is used up before the series finale.

I kinda lost interest in the lost through last season. Don't know why, just seemed to drag on. That, and Barney Howser, M.D. is an annoying fuck. Has it gotten better? If so, how?

And, for me, Two and a Half Men was hilarious last night, especially with future Alan and Jake working the movie concession stand at the end.
