    Nobody slung 75 inches of deadline agate like I did. You and I would've had some fun battles.

    My first experience with AP was as an agate clerk in New York for two summers in the early '80s. I had to update the winning percentages for the standings and batting averages for the leaders using a hand calculator.

    Dictating a lead (or taking stories by telephone from a field reporter, for that matter) is a lost art. Boxing writer Ed Schuyler was the best I ever worked with.

    I'm not going to touch on any discussion of your previous post, but is there any evidence that oral sex of the M-on-F variety is on the decline? I've never heard or read such a thing before.
