Is this what the new owners are trying to do?

“There is a website called sportsjournalists.com. It’s a place where, more or less, sports journalists can go and anonymously talk about the industry; gossip about other writers; bemoan the plight of our profession... For many of us, it serves as a release. Hate your boss? Go to sportsjournalists.com and blast him/her. Think someone is overrated? Say it! Say it! Say it!”

That excerpt is taken from a 3-year-old Jeff Pearlman blog post. Why TPTB chose that as the site's first Facebook ad is anyone's guess.

I just unliked it. Don't want to be a part of anything like that.

Just a thought for the owners of the site, who can do whatever they want:

Some of the best writers in the business--any business--hang out at this site. I bet you could ask any of the fine folks around here to whip up a little graf or two for that page.

Maybe a community effort, have some fun with it, but what's there right now is, umm, awkward at best:

Thanks. I was feeling a little bit ignored there.

21 makes an excellent point. What's on there now is embarrassing.

Let me use my real name to like a page for a site where I can rip my boss anonymously... Like no one can figure that out.

Others cant see who has liked the page unless they have access to your news feed.
