    Thanks.
It was extremely tough to come up with that one.

I'm sure. I'm still trying to get over the power of it, myself.

Here's mine - we could probably do business

GI, I don't see your pitchers...

Angola, I figured it up because I'm curious.

Your top five starters in '07: 82 wins in 160 starts
My top five starters in '07: 75 wins in 136

Pretty comparable. My guys are younger. I have no idea of the strikeout and ERA comparisons. But you probably are far ahead of me in Ks with the guys you drafted.

    Who is in your rotation?

What's strange is I was going to draft Zambrano with my second pick because I have a love affair with him, but went with Peavy assuming he'd be healthy this season.
Then I got Zambrano a couple of rounds later.

It's on the second page. I have Sabathia, Carmona, Halladay, Bannister and Gallardo. I went for youth.

Sorry, I forgot you posted it.

That is a good rotation. In fantasy, I tend to shy away from American League pitchers, just because I don't like it when they face the Red Sox, Yankees, Tigers, etc.
That's my only concern with those guys, but Sabathia and Halladay are both legit.

I think Halladay is a tad over-rated. Wins are always touch-and-go, but he will never be in the top 15 in strikeouts and it always seems like he misses a game or two for some freak thing. I am pleased with my tandem of Hamels & Verlander.

The East Coast Hype Machine management is sorry it missed today's draft, but I did pre-rank (and somehow missed Curt Schilling. Darn.). Pretty happy with this team; pitching staff is a little soft, but that's what wheeling-and-dealing, and a couple of convenient baseball bats to the knees of the right people, can fix.

Speaking of ... Barsuk, I have made a counteroffer.

Didn't get to a pitcher until the 8th round, if anyone is looking for a closer or OF, we can work something out. Those of you who have played with me before know that I am always open & anxious for business.

Doing this draft was interesting, especially for my first year of fantasy baseball in four years.

Time will tell if I adjust as poorly to this as Joe Gibbs adjusted to returning to the NFL.
