But after reviewing the draft, I didn't do too badly.

Although, I will say, everyone except Crosby is on the trading table, and I have an affinity for former WCHA players.

Let the wheeling and dealing begin.

    Yup.

I think he'll have a big year. All of the attention will go to the Sakic-Smyth line, leaving Wolski plenty of time and space to put pucks in the net.

This was a lot easier to set up than the ESPN baseball league. In that league, I had several people who wanted to change the draft time and nobody every said anything about the draft time for this and either showed up or did autodraft. Another difference, hopefully, will be that nobody will hit cruise control. Way too many people in that baseball league just stopped managing their teams.

    Here's mine:

According to The Sporting News, I got four of the top 22 players, three of the top 24 centers, five of the top 30 wingers, four of the top 17 defensemen and two of the top six goalies.

I know I have some bums, but I think I have a nice squad.

I think you just whipped the Poodles last week.

    A lot of hockey left.

I will give the Poodles a few more weeks before sticking a fork in them or trying to redo the team.

Glad to be out of the cellar.

I have a pretty good team. Some goaltending issues I'm waiting on...

Averys have won its last four matchups. And we're looking to make it five-for-five.
