You know why I scored so well last week?

It's because this fucking idiot never realized that we were picking against the spread this entire time.

Now, of course, I will keep sucking.

I'm picking chalk. I take all favorites, and I give the highest confidence points to the lowest spreads.

And I still suck.

 

Why don't we have a rule in this league, where you can still jump in at anytime for games that haven't kicked off yet.
It's stupid to penalize people who don't plug into the fact that there are Thursday games.
It just seems like it would be more competitive and more fun.

I missed Brady Quinn's debut and now I'm worthless for the week.

The league commish can't change those settings.

I'm not certain, but I think the settings are determined by the commish.
On the college pick 'em, we are allowed to get any pick in, as long as it's 5 mins before game kicks off.
The commish sets the parameters, I do believe.
Either way, carry on.

 

Blitz, don't know why Yahoo runs the pick em leagues like that.

But in every NFL pick em I've been in, the deadline has always been before the first game is played that week.

 

You can switch it. I just looked at the league I'm commissioner in.

They have three options:
Friday at 3pm PST;
Five minutes before the first game of the week;
and five minutes before each game.
