"Little Miss Magic" -- Jimmy Buffett (perfect for your project)

"Daddy's Little Girl" -- The Mills Brothers (old school and awesome)

"Still Fighting It" -- Ben Folds (child in question is a boy, but a great tune)

Just queue up Jay-Z's Reasonable Doubt and walk away.

    Oh I will.

I heard Teach Your Children Well by Crosby, Stills and Nash driving in, and that song will be going on a future DVD.

My grandfather introduced me to Mills Bros. and lots of other stuff from the era. I am to music what buckweaver is to baseball -- way too familiar with people who were dead before I was alive. But a Mills Bros. album makes me feel happy in a way few other things can.

    One word: Cliche'

Find something off the beaten track. EVERYONE uses that song. But if you find something different, they'll think of your DVD.
