I sent Douglas a note to see if he has any idea what's up.

Saw these parts on YouTube and laughed about it.

I then thought about that abysmal Vikings-Packers 9-7 snorefest a few weeks ago. Me (a Vikings fan) and a friend of mine, who is a die-hard Packers fan, watched that game together and when it ended, felt the same way. The trash talk wasn't even inspiring. Me because of the Vikes' QB woes and him because Bubba Franks' efforts in this one game, should have been enough reason for GB to cut him right after the game.

Vikings and Packers now have plenty of time to hibernate until April

Folks, if you're having server timeout issues, please do the following. START > RUN > Type in "COMMAND" without the quotes and hit enter. Type "ping sportsjournalists.com" without the quotes and hit enter. Type "tracert sportsjournalists.com" without the quotes and hit enter. You'll need to post both of these results in a thread here somewhere. Let Webby know. Webby, poke me on IMs with a link to the thread, and I'll see what's happening.

Been getting this all day. Of course, when I log on through AOL's browser, as I am now, I can get in fine.

The last two hours have been horrendous as far as trying to navigate the site. Lots of "Server Not Found" messages.

    OK, so I tried:
-- resetting my router through my settings
-- unplugging my router and cable modem for an hour
-- clearing out my Firefox cache
-- resetting my IP address multiple times

And still, SportsJournalists.com is the only site from which I'm blocked.
I have McAfee's personal firewall plus as well, but it doesn't seem to have any settings that would have let me block a specific Web site.

    Rosie, anyone ... help!

Wicked, I don't know what to tell ya. I'm in the same boat. I spent an hour looking through my wireless router setting looking for something -- even the built-in firewall -- and nothing. My laptop has ZoneAlarm, I use the Windows firewall on the desktop.

I really think this is a problem on the server's end.

Douglas? Are you out there? Any ideas?

I have had problems with it moving slow today as well, though the only time it "times out" is when I am trying to post. I just figured it was a sign from above to quit posting so much.
