    My thoughts exactly. Even where I live it isn't in the Southwest, it's close, but quite a bit different.

    Pretty sure he lives in Texas somewhere. With his politics he would fit in great in Imperial.

    I always think of Texas and Oklahoma as Southwest, and Louisiana as Southeast. Oklahoma is a little too far south to be considered Midwest (which could be anything from Ohio to North Dakota).

    I always considered myself a southern midwesterner living in Oklahoma.

    Now I just live in Texas, which ought to be its own region.

    Soon I'll live somewhere which is neither of those places.
