SportsJournalists.com committee admits change is better

TAHOE, Nev. (AP) -- While the NCAA continues to refuse to have a playoff for its Division I football, the SportsJournalists.com March Madness committee has decided to scrap its previous way of doing things.
Instead of relying solely on the number of posts, the committee will take into consideration different criteria for seeding including: number of posts, quality of posts, whether they make Angola! laugh and whatever other arguments posters want to put forth.

Shouldn't the reigning SportsJournalists.com Poster of the Year have some sort of spot in the tourney? Also, it's nice to see my wife is a 14 seed and may play me in the first round. I'm sure she'd win.

But since she's a woman, it'd only be because you let her, right? Or does that only work for putt-putt, football, and video games?

Last year I went solely on posts and received some criticism, so this year I took out the folks in the top 64 who do not post anymore (Almost Famous and Columbo) and replaced them with Jones and Lucas Wiseman. I figured the two other slots could be filled with whomever. Maybe I'll leave that up to vote.

No, it's because she's more likable than me. I'm secure enough in my occasional assholishness to admit this.

Songbird shouldn't be in there since he's on a self-forced hiatus.

even tho I relish the chance to jump to a 2 seed from last year's 6 -- fuck you BYH -- you are forgetting fenian bastard at a 2 seed.

If that's your philosophy, 'Gola, then Freelance Hack and Double J probably should be dropped. They maybe have five posts between them in the last six months.
