I picked the first two games wrong, but I had them for my 1- and 3-point confidence picks. Don't feel too bad about them.

I didn't change any of the confidence points, mainly because I couldn't make them all zero.

I've been picking NFL games by where I'd rather live (and not doing too badly!) But I couldn't really do that with college football, because I know next to nothing about most of the states with major programs -- forget the towns themselves.

Anybody have another non-scientific method I should try? More vicious mascots, perhaps?

The dominant-mascot theory probably would have been a good as any during the wacky regular season.

And my 30-, 29-, and 28-point teams all go today. Bowl season's about to be ruined for everyone after three days.

Did you just set your confidence picks in chronological order?

You just jinxed yourself ... so who you got?

What I wish is that the bowl picks were like the regular season: Once that day's games start, you can see who everybody else picked.

I'm not telling! Then you will try something sneaky.

Yep! So far looking like a brilliant strategy.

Done! With extra-special confidence in mascots I particularly like.

I'm going to lose, but at least now I'll be slightly more entertained.

I'm the dominant mascot in this play, baby.

And it has you not only leading this pool, but tied for the overall lead among all Yahoo! users.
