    I am not participating, but remember a few years ago when you and I were discussing the the Sun Belt conference and you were surprised someone living where I do knew a bit about each of the teams?

    I don't remember the Sun Belt conversation, but I remember Ragu being a Rain Man-level savant on the MAC.

    A friendly reminder to all voters ... preseason poll picks are due Monday.

    Gold stars to the following voters for already getting me their ballots: Precious Roy, Madhavok, rmanfredi, KY Sportswriter, Inky_Wretch, Della9250, ejhayes737, McNuggets Man, ChrisMaza, Mile High.

    I look forward to hearing from everyone else this weekend or on Monday.

    Oh, and so far we have four teams with No. 1 votes. The letters "O" and "A" are well represented here ...
