    If high speed Internet ever becomes widely available in cars satellite radio is toast.

    A business transaction is not a business transaction if one side is losing money on the exchange.

    They don't beam it to your car until you order it. So if you shut it off, there goes the signal. I have no idea what the costs are regarding beaming signals.
