I won’t be right-wing sports broadcasting. That didn’t work out well for them last year.

It’ll just be really cheap and the quality of the people they have on the broadcast will go down sharply.

Sinclair is the second-cheapest group in TV news (after Nexstar).

Can't wait for Boris Epshtyn's hot takes on LeBron James.

Like I always say when some idiot suggests newspapers go conservative to build circulation back: How do you write a conservative gamer?

Maybe dedicate a reporter to Trevor Bauer?

Don't most teams control the broadcasts? The network fills in the rest of the programming? Figure Curt Schilling will have a gig before too long.

Write glowing things about right-handed pitchers and batters, and bad things about lefties?

Sinclair had cash on hand after it screwed the pooch with the Tribune sale. Sports is far different than news. Bit surprised. Thought Liberty with MLB would emerge here.

This is one instance where I'd be OK with them simulcasting the radio feed, in the Rangers' case. Hell, a lot of Rangers fans already do.
