It's full. I just wanted to be sure it was not forgotten about.

Don't worry just yet, Michael. There's at least one league that usually happens on this site that sets up later...or you could try your own again in March when people start realizing they want one more or a league falls through.

I just wanted to give everyone a heads up before the draft about the stat categories I chose for the league.

Holds is a scoring category, so middle relievers will have some more value in this league than they may have in others.

As much as possible, I wanted to try to make the fantasy team look like a real baseball team. [/countdowntospnited'sresponsein5432...]

I also limited the number of waiver moves to seven per week. This stops the people who drop their entire pitching staffs each day to grab starting pitchers. I have been in a league where this has happened, and the strategy actually works. It's just unfair to others and corrupts the integrity of the game.

If Spnited did not reply to the above post...

Just a reminder that the draft is tonight at 7 pm (EST).

Did you ever notice that the people who need to be reminded of the date and time of their fantasy drafts are the ones who are about to get their asses kicked?

Or do nothing to improve their team as the season progresses.

Here are your 2008 Springfield Isotopes!!!

I have a lot of speed and probably not enough power. I think my pitching is decent, but who knows with pitching?

I like how only one of my players seems to be coming off of a career year (Rollins) and the other hitters all seem to be going into possible career years.

Zito, Sexson and Kearns are the types of players, that if they play to potential, could really lift my squad. If they don't, I only used late, late picks on them.

All in all, I think this group has a shot.

    C Bengie Molina (SF - C)
    1B Adrian Gonzalez (SD - 1B)
    2B Robinson Cano (NYY - 2B)
    3B Aramis Ramirez (ChC - 3B)
SS Jimmy Rollins (Phi - SS)
CI Adam LaRoche (Pit - 1B)
MI Placido Polanco (Det - 2B)
LF Carl Crawford (TB - LF)
CF Willy Taveras (Col - CF)
RF Shane Victorino (Phi - RF)
OF Xavier Nady (Pit - LF,CF,RF)
Util Richie Sexson (Sea - 1B)
SP Dan Haren (Ari - SP)
SP Chris Young (SD - SP)
SP Chad Billingsley (LAD - SP,RP)
SP Adam Wainwright (StL - SP)
RP Jose Valverde (Hou - RP)
RP Huston Street (Oak - RP)
RP Joba Chamberlain (NYY - RP)
RP Matt Capps (Pit - RP)
P Barry Zito (SF - SP)
P Mike Gonzalez (Atl - RP)
BN Casey Kotchman (LAA - 1B)
BN Melky Cabrera (NYY - LF,CF)
BN Austin Kearns (Was - RF)

Rambler, with Hamilton, Dempster and McLouth, has a nice 10-win cushion.

SlickWille71 is second, and third is a pack of contenders.

Giving this thread a bump to celebrate Bang Gang finally bouncing out of last place. *sniff* Oh hell, here I go getting all emotional.

Oh well, I play No. 1 Bubba this week. By this time next week, I should be back in last.

Playoff teams to date are bolded.

The league is tightening up a bit.

My (SI) best hitter ranks 29th and my best pitcher ranks 20th. I must be doing this with smoke and mirrors.

Suicidal charging hard with four of the top 10 hitters.

Nefi hold four of the top 10 pitchers.
