Not only did she sign the scorecard, there was no LPGA official in the scorer's tent when this supposed violation happened. If the volunteers didn't happen to mention it Saturday morning, no LPGA official would even have known and she would have continued playing.

No, not at all. Once she leaves the scoring area as it has been defined, it doesn't matter if she returns and signs her card, does it in front of 1,000 witnesses, has it notarized and posts it on a Web site for all the world to see. She still is DQ'd and deservedly so.
