NASCAR beaters, when you get to Daytona in February don't be surprised to find that the official vehicles for the speedway are Toyota or possibly Fords. Likely that GM won't be back in that role.

Hey, you have to figure out some way to pay for those corporate jets.

Michigan will have much bigger problems.

Put it this way: If Detroit goes under, Texas will have 5 million new residents in less than a year.

Such as, state and county snowplow drivers won't plow secondary roads if they have to be paid overtime. Assuming you have a job, Michiganders, good luck getting to work this winter:

It was always the dumbest endorsement on the planet, because nobody ever believed that Woods would own a Buick, or even be caught riding in one as a courtesy car outside of the two events the company title-sponsored.

Like Capriati endorsing Oil of Olay when she was 16.

I have a friend who plays a lot at Isleworth as a guest. He said he's seen Woods in a Buick several times.

I suppose she could plausibly have endorsed Oil of Hashish at that age.

Tiger probably got a new Buick a week. Now he'll have to buy his own. Sucks to be him.

What do mean? The beginning of the economy affecting sports?

Because we're long past the beginning of economic tsunami itself.

Buick has a huge market in China, where it is the prestige import, like Mercedes here. So maybe GM will replace Tiger with Yao.
