    Fairmont is a stone's throw from Morgantown and about an hour and 20 minutes from Pittsburgh.
    Fairmont State is a D-II school in the WVIAC.

    North Central West Virginia has a surprisingly robust Italian population (surprising if you don't spend much time in West Virginia, that is). Good food as a result.
