    Has anyone answered this yet:
What are these "sick days" of which you speak?
    I am a reporter working for a newspaper, that's why I ask.

we've got unlimited (within reason) at my shop. i don't take 'mental health' days like some others. but when my temp has breeched the century mark and i'm producing enough lung rockets to fill a two-liter bottle in a day... time for the paper to find a fill-in and time for me to experience the magic that is 'live with regis and kelly.'

Been at my current job almost two years and haven't taken a sick day yet. My son, however, has been sick periodically and has caused me to miss several days.

Hey, it takes a tough man to stare unblinkingly into the gaping maw of Martha Stewart and her home improvement Yenta Squad for an hour. Lesser men have died, I'm told.

    Don't you guys have cable?

Nope. It's my little luddite paradise. No internet, no cable at home. Just me, a ton of books and DVDs, and the cat (and sometimes a nice single malt) in the Killick Fortress of Solitude.

I dunno. Seemed to me she'd always been a little "hippy."

So you watched Ellen, The View, Martha Stewart and Oprah?

And claim to be a man?

My testicles will descend again, I'm told, sometime next May. I'm planning a party.
