And a Favre Wrangler ad on the inside back cover, to add insult to injury.

Anybody know where Zeke's rusty butter knife is?

It might have been unintentional, but it's not ironic at all. :D

I think that it's because you finally renewed.

Don't they send an issue with Brett Farve on the cover to all of the subscribers who come out of retirement?

Yeah, I remember that happening to me as well. I guess they have an "Automatic renewal program" that doubles your subscription price after the one year is over.

And yes. I hate regional covers: I was excited to see John Wall on the cover a week or so ago and what do I get? Stupid Miles Austin and the loser Cowboys.

Wait, Peter King wrote the Sanchez cover story but not the Favre one??

Those gym bags are shit, you thik they could come up with some better swag. I still wear the sweatshirt I got for renewing years ago.

I'm interested to see what the quality is on the NFL jacket.

Another thumbs-down to the shit gym bag. Fell apart on me, plus it couldn't fit much more than a pair of shoes anyway.

I've been on SI autopilot for two decades. I'll never cancel, even as I keep wincing at the copy editing gaffes and skip over the blah player features. Golf Plus has kind of been a savior, but I'm sure even without that I'd still get SI.

Anybody notice last week's horrible mistake?

Apparently, Virginia Tech is a threat to repeat as ACC champs in 2010 ...

They don't say much because they like the whole SI cover myth, but they've been doing a lot of regional covers in recent years.
