SI report on dogfighting at Vick's house

Again, whatever they were, I'm sure he could claim ignorance and get out of it.

This is a secondary or tertiary (or whatever ary comes after that ...) concern, of course, but I'm going to go out on a limb here and predict a 10-loss season for the Falcons. This will be a distraction that will not go away for a franchise that, even 40+ years in, seems unable to steady itself. I'm almost to the point of believing that Vick should be suspended. I'm not quite there only because the authorities in Virginia seem reluctant to go with what they have in prosecuting him.

 

They are loading up for bear in Virginia. Don't be fooled.

 

I'm guessing given Vick's status and the people he will have stepping in harm's way and taking the fall for him, the authorities are going to want to have an iron clad case before they bring charges against him.
