    No one should have to defend what Hibbert said.

    And saying that what he said was stupid but he shouldn't be suspended isn't "defending" what he said.

    I could be missing something, but isn't it basically the way people in their teens and 20s say "That may have sounded like an innuendo, but it wasn't"?

    Obviously this probably isn't the best gauge, but I've seen that phrase posted on Facebook by people who at the same time had the equal marriage rights symbol as their profile picture. I had no idea it was considered offensive.

    I want to go on the record to admit I enjoyed Doyel's latest screed on Lebron. It was the kind of thing he never would have written a few years ago.
