    First off, that is a lie. Capitol Police may have their pay delayed (http://apps.washingtonpost.com/g/page/politics/paydates-for-federal-employees/492/), but they're still getting paid.

    Then he clarified with this (https://twitter.com/mattyglesias/status/385836722954964992) which is is a lie as well. They're not going to "skip" anything. Their pay may be delayed.

    I thought that's how journalism works. Isn't it? Reporters can't get details on the record, so they're forced to rely on anonymous, off the record info from "trusted" law enforcement sources, right?

    And, if the info is incorrect, it's no one's fault.

    She was on top of her game in the aftermath of the Navy Yard shooting.
