Why are there thousands of "Big and Tall" clothing shops but none --- I mean none --- for "Small and Short."

Shouldn't there be a 5-4 male for every 6-4 male? A 5-6 male for every 6-2 male? A 5-2 male for every 6-6 male?

Demand should be the same at either extreme.

Is it really just as simple as, "Ah, the short guys can just shop in the boys' department?"

 

You are missing the "big" from the "Big and Tall." Do you see more fat people or more short people in the world?

 

So someone short and fat could find pants with a 48-inch waist and 28-inch inseam at those stores?
