Cut4, MLB.com’s short-content platform for trending news and highlights, is seeking funny, creative, up-and-coming writers and editors.

Ideal candidates know sports and pop culture (but also appreciate a good cat meme), understand what drives traffic and generate a never-ending stream of off-the-wall ideas.

Applicants should have online content experience and an ability to write quickly, cleanly and concisely in AP style. Photoshop skills are a plus, as is basic reporting experience. Position is part-time, 30-40 hours per week. Scheduling and location are flexible.

Please submit a resume and 250 words detailing your qualifications and why you want to work for Cut4 to jobs@cut4.com.

How short are we talking about? I'm 6'1 but I'm shorter than all but two in my newsroom

Flexible as in you can work in either the New York or LA office or flexible as in you could do this job from the Starbucks down the street from your house?

Spud Webb is as short as I can get. Guess that rules me out.

You keep using this word. I do not think it means what you think it means.
