Tv station says perp "appeared to say" Heil Hitler. They'd better be sure. For their sake, I hope they've got more than lip reading to go on.

And misusing a great line like that just makes things worse.

The Global War on Jews is older than Christianity.

This is a terrible event, and we've seen too many like it.

I just think it's funny that people have this all figured out, when they couldn't figure out Ft. Hood and/or the Times Square bombing.

What people? Seems to me, there is a ways to go on this one. Some are rushing to judgement, just as you are rushing to assign positions to people rather than letting them speak for themselves.

    2012 FBI Hate Crime Statistics:

Of the 1,340 victims of an anti-religious hate crime:

62.4 percent were victims of an offender’s anti-Jewish bias.
11.6 percent were victims of an anti-Islamic bias.

Death, death, death. Hook up the electrodes and pump enough juice through him to light up Disney World. Torture him until his nutsack smokes to find out if he had any accomplices, then reduce his body to cinders.

Not exactly shocking. Also, to be clear, these are not all violent crimes in the statistics you presented. If I'm reading this right, there were 7,164 victims of hate crimes in 2012. Victims can be businesses, institutions and society as well as individuals. Of those 7,164 reports, 2,993 (41.8 percent) were crimes against property.

All due respect to your point, now that you are finally making one, the information you cite lumps together vandalism with murder, and vandalism was a hell of a lot more common.

Also, 18.7 percent of victims of hate crimes were due to a bias against a religion compared to 48.5 percent due to the offender's racial bias.

Events like this are terrible no matter who the victim is.

And since when is repeating what is being reported without giving your own opinion "rushing to judgement" or even figuring it out?

    Oh and ...

SPLC claims the shooter was a former grand dragon in a KKK chapter.
