Curious to know how people feel excessive amount of anniversary pieces news organizations around the region will be doing.

Is it still too early to talk about gun control?

There were no fully automatic guns used in the mowing down of hundreds of people last year.

Because fully automatic guns are illegal.

That was my takeaway from last year.

In some states they are, unless it's only kept in your house.

    NJ, think NY also

    Can an 18-year-old purchase a semi-automatic rifle in N.J.?

More than 30 specific assault firearms are banned by name in New Jersey, ranging from automatic military rifles that continuously fire, and other semi-automatic weapons that fire single bullets with each trigger pull. Included in that list are the Colt AR-15 and CAR-15 series.

OK. You're talking about semi-automatic weapons, which is different than when you mentioned automatic weapons earlier.

If semi-automatic weapons are banned, you think fully automatic weapons are OK?
