Shaving woes

I can use a disposable for about a year before changing it out. It may be dull as hell but I get accustomed to it so it's no biggie. It's only when I go to the new blade when I realize how bad the old one was.

A year? Wow. I throw a disposable away after two weeks, and I barely have to shave every second day. Which is a good thing, because at the end of that two weeks, my face is getting shredded by that razor.

I'm 42, and only had to start shaving more than twice a week three years ago. I've just recently been able to grow something that approximates a goatee.

My brother-in-law was throwing out Fusion blades after one or two uses. I told him, "You do realize you're spending about $10 a week on razor blades?"

I think he's using them until the little blue strip comes off now, which is usually after 3-4 uses.
