"To seek out new life and new civilizations... and inadvertantly kill them."

Scientist is theorizing that "Two NASA space probes that visited Mars 30 years ago may have found alien microbes on the Red Planet and inadvertently killed them."

    D'OH!

So the probe was driving along the surface, and got some bugs on the windshield? Or did they run them over completely?

Who knew W interned with NASA?

Apparently, we decided to drown and burn said life. We were going to shoot and stab, but Manson refused to get in the capsule. The message: Don't fuck with us, Marvin.

So global warming isn't a man-made event after all. It's something caused by Martians trying to get revenge on us for killing their citizens. Right-wing extremists who don't believe in global warming are rejoicing.

Good on ya, space probes! The best defence is a good offence, after all.

Next step: Horatio Caine returns to Mars for a visit home and becomes involved in the investigation. "If I find out you did this," he warns NASA, "I will get you."

    YEEEAAAHHHHHH!!!
