Sex ads worth more than Village Voice newspapers

So think the current owners of VV newspapers:

Although I'm never stunned when liberals say one thing and do another, but why wouldn't the liberal feminists I'm sure constitute a good portion of the VV readership complain to high heaven about this? As Kristoff's article noted, Rush Limbaugh took heat and lost 100 advertisers over a few snide remarks about women. This is exploitation of women, trafficking women and violence against women, and the VV is complicit.

They did complain. Loudly. Which is one reason why the sex ads left the Voice in the first place - and were eventually gathered on their own website. Same with New York magazine

But the VV still owns backpage. They're co-conspirators every time a pimp who uses the site beats up one of his girls, let alone exploits her.

Great. Fantastic. But the VV hasn't divested itself of BP so all the protests appear to not be working.

Your complaint was that 'liberal feminists' weren't protesting.

It was demonstrated to you that they are protesting.

This isn't about liberal. This is about 2 profiteers who are "breaking bad." They tried to make it in the news game but now see how filthy rich they can get in the sex game. Especially if they focus all their time and energy on staying thisclose from breaking the law.

Free market capitalism all the way. I thought you'd applaud this.
