Here's one: How comfortable are you with making the kid go visit its "father" in prison, and, when he gets out, making the kid go visit him in his home?

And how would the aborted fetus have any comprehension of what you're telling them?

It does when you try to tell your neighbor how to raise their kids.

Isn't it the father's responsibility to go visit the kid, not the other way around?

Of course not. Life throws you nasty curveballs sometimes. You swallow hard and deal with them in the most moral way possible.

Let's say you're rushing home to see your kid's graduation. Been dreaming of this moment since he was born. You encounter an accident on the highway right in front of you. A person is badly injured. You have a responsibility to tend to this person, to call for help, to wait until said help arrives, however long it takes. Even if it means you are inconvenienced into missing something you have looked forward to for 18 years. It sucks for you. But you're doing the right thing.

How's he going to do that when he's in prison?

And, after he's out, do you want your rapist visiting you in your home?

Where are you coming up with this strawman?

I wouldn't call being the victim of a violent crime being "inconvenienced."

Telling people what they can and can't do is entirely your side of the aisle. In particular, you love to spend other people's money.

Being raped = being delayed in traffic.

    Hooray for SJ.com!

"Entirely?" What a joke, especially with this topic.

Other people want to tell pregnant women they must give birth. Even if they are raped. And, in Ben Carson's case, even if they may die or be harmed from the pregnancy. Who's dictating to whom here?
