Poor Bert. As the OCD member of their pairing, he must be pissed his name is misspelled in the thread title.

Then again, it does work as their celebrity couple mashup name.

    Ha! I didn't notice that.

Or maybe Steak was saying something about the Tennessee basketball program in the mid-1970s.

Put me in the camp of liking the cover.

Here's the Obamas cover from 2008 for a reference point.

The most shocking thing about that cover is that The New Yorker's newsstand price is now $6.99!

The original Mr. Noodle was gay and HIV positive before his death 10 years ago.

I am not convinced that if they didn't sign off on it, that they would fight it.

Yeah, I think at the most, PBS will send out another release saying Bert and Ernie are not sexual beings and the New Yorker will apologize to anyone who may have been offended...

I do not see PBS suing anyone.

You guys realize you can't generally sue for satire, right?

Besides, two straight bros can't snuggle and celebrate a SCOTUS decision? Maybe Bert and Ernie are aspiring vote supressors and they are loving and cuddly over the idea of implementing a poll tax or ID law on Seaseme Street.

I think they're snuggling over Obamacare being upheld, so Ernie can now pay for his transgender operation.

I feel bad for kids today. A few months ago they learned that Elmo was not only gay but a pedophile and now this.
