Sesame Street DVDs come with warnings

What's this world coming to? Early episodes of Sesame Street are being released with warnings that the shows are intended for adults and not for children for reasons as foolish as:
    - in the opening of the show, they show kids playing on rocks and with farm animals without adult supervision
    - Oscar the Grouch suffered from untreated depression
    - Ernie & Bert acted weird living in a basement apartment together
    - Cookie Monster was a case of diabetes waiting to happen because all he ate were cookies
    - Cookie Monster tried to smoke a pipe once and couldn't

Can't get the exact video link to work, but you can view the story off this page:

If Sesame Street was intended for "adults" why do so many education specialists and child psychologists recommend the show?

What's going to come with a warning label next?
Chutes and Ladders because it doesn't say you might get hurt in real life falling down a slide/chute that long?
Uncle Wiggly because it actually requires you to think and read?
Sorry because it demonstrates poor grammar, it should really be "I'm Sorry" ?
CandyLand because some of the colors might influence homosexual thinking?

Every time you see a needless warning, thank an attorney.

Well yeah. That's obvious. I'm just asking that one of the few happy memories not be sullied.
