Seriously...what's the use of cheerleaders?

Haha, hardly. I just think cheerleaders had their place and time in the NFL and that time is over.

Good thing this wasn't the first thread I clicked on today or I would have swore I was a) on the wrong website or b) entered some sort of reverse SportsJournalists.com world where everything is backwards.

I don't what some of you are thinking. You don't want the eye candy, fine--toss it my way. Hell, I'm thinking there could be an audience for an NFL Cheerleaders Red Zone channel.

You mean those 10 seconds where they typically show the cheerleaders while returning from a commercial break?
Other than an even shorter shot (maybe 2 seconds or less) of them shaking their pom-poms after a nice play by the home team, I don't think I've ever seen an NFL or college broadcast cut to a shot of them during live-action situations.

I knew a 49ers cheerleader awhile back who used to make some money on the side by going to a rich guy's house every Halloween to hand out candy.

    The guy had no children.

A little T&A is all part of the show, and that goes for football and basketball. Hell, even a lot of baseball teams at the high school and college levels have "diamond girls," to add a little T&A value to the program. Me, I just roll with it. The dancing girls are easy on the eyes and a nice little diversion, but I wouldn't miss them if they were gone.

So I guess walking up to them and saying: "Go away whore," is the wrong attitude?
    :D

The best part of the Expos playing in Puerto Rico was the dugout cheerleaders.
