Serial murderer, who first struck in LA 23 years ago, killed again last year

    The sister of close friend of my family was the first victim in a fairly high-profile spree killing a few years back. There was no "sexual stuff." The bastard just spent the better part of a day shooting people. She became the family's unofficial spokesperson during the trial and by the end of it and I will never forget how it wore on her. She just couldn't get away from it for a long time.

    The details didn't matter. She knew more details than any of the media types ever would. I can't imagine ever having to hear things like that about the murder of a loved one and then have people asking you for details day after day.
