Careful -- Google ranks web pages based on qualitative factors now so loading up on metatags and keywords is a small part of SEO. Thus the rise of (expensive) content marketing.

Look on Amazon for a book by Jennifer Grappone called 'Search Engine Optimization: An Hour a Day.'
It is excellent, very simple to follow and user friendly.
