Nothing new about that. Pretty much describes the GOP in my lifetime.

 

We love our kids and grandkids so much we're going to let them solve the heath care problem.

 

Someone please post the bill that had this clause actually in it, written into a bill that was actually proposed and submitted by a Member of Congress into either the House or Senate.

 

No, that's the slogan of the Democrats who voted down an amendment that would have opened up the health care plan they receive to the public. They do have theirs, and there's no way in hell they'll allow the public to have that. Sure, they're more than happy to force a half-assed health care plan onto the masses and claim they've reformed the system. But all they're really doing is deciding once again that they know better and deserve better than anyone else while doing whatever they can to get more people dependent on the government, which sucks for said people but generates plenty of votes. More condescending liberal bullshit.
