'Selfies at Funerals'

Apparently (according to this article I just read on Cracked: http://www.cracked.com/article_20577_the-6-most-terrifying-things-people-used-to-do-with-dead.html) the Victorians couldn't get enough of photographing the recently dead.

Prop them up on the couch, jam their eyes open, gather the family around for the ten minutes needed for a proper exposure. All good fun.

I'm getting my first smartphone this Christmas with my work money. I plan to use it primarily for taking funny pictures of my dogs.

 

Cameras at funerals for African Americans in the south is not unheard of.

 

I can't believe this hasn't been posted yet, but sometimes you need one to get the bereavement fare discount.

 

The only "selfie" I take is during a shower or right after waking up and I don't have to go anywhere right away.
