Sometimes it makes you wonder doesn't it?

I suppose that's better than my original name: Pissbucket. I think it's Dutch.

You're going to feel awfully silly if you've got a broken radiator hose.

If you just sunk $800 into it, you better be getting a mechanic's opinion, and a second mechanic's opinion. Otherwise, you've just wasted $800. And take it to somewhere other than the place that charged you $800 to fix whatever was wrong. If your car was that close to breaking down for good, a decent mechanic wouldn't be advising you to put that much into it.

I second the motion; it sounds likely that it's something along the lines of a hose that needs to be replaced. I had a similar-sounding problem once and replacing a $10 hose was the solution.

Kia is a subdivision of Hyundai, which is a huge conglomerate. How somebody would think Hyundai is defunct is beyond me.

And the forthcoming coupe version of the new Hyundai Genesis will knock your socks off.

Already been covered, but I appreciate you kicking me when I'm down. Go ahead, there's a spot over here next to my kidney that hasn't been kicked yet, and over here ... :)

Well I would rather get a newer car than sink money into the one I have. It has 135,000 miles on it and has issues. I am just trying to get out from under it before I put more money into it than what it's worth.

You just put $800 into it. So find out what the next repair is. Could be cheap.

Thank you, that's the blow to the kidneys I was waiting on.
